Terms of service
These terms cover the strongot website and the iPhone and Android app: how they work and what each side is responsible for.
Who you're dealing with
strongot is run by Stylianos Karydakis, Afrikis Street, 3052 Limassol, Cyprus. You can reach us at [email protected]. You must be 16 or over to use strongot.
The three relationships
A gym licenses the platform to run its business. A trainer works inside one or more gyms that invited them. A member trains at one or more gyms. Your rights depend on which of these you are, and you can be more than one.
What a gym is responsible for
- The accuracy of its timetable, prices, capacity and cancellation window.
- Delivering the sessions its members book, taking payment for its memberships and credits, and recording those sales accurately.
- The conduct of its staff and trainers, and the safety of its facility.
- Being the controller of its members’ data and answering their requests about it.
What we are responsible for
- Doing our best to keep the platform available, backed up and reasonably fast.
- Keeping tenants isolated. No gym can read another gym’s data.
- Keeping an accurate record of the credits, memberships and sales a gym enters. We don’t take, hold or transfer anyone’s money.
- Telling you if any of that fails in a way that affects you.
Bookings, credits and refunds
The gym sets its own cancellation window; cancelling inside it may forfeit the credit. Credits are issued by a gym and spendable only at that gym. Refunds are the gym’s decision and are paid by the gym directly. We do not refund a gym’s sessions on the gym’s behalf.
Payments
strongot does not process payments between gyms and their members. Members pay their gym directly, at the gym, and the gym records the sale. A trainer’s share of session income is set by the gym and paid by the gym directly; strongot only shows what is owed and what the gym has marked as paid. Disputes about a payment are between the people involved; the record is visible to both.
Store listings are preorders. Placing one shares your name and email with the seller, who arranges payment and delivery with you directly. strongot is not a party to that sale.
strongot plans
Every gym can use strongot free within the limits of the Free plan. Paid plans are bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment and handles renewal and refunds under its own terms. A plan renews until you cancel it in your store account, at least 24 hours before the period ends. The price is shown before you buy.
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw within 14 days. By asking for a plan to start straight away, you agree that this right ends once it does.
What you post
What you post stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people you chose, and you promise you have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to access another tenant’s data, don’t automate abuse of the booking system, and don’t upload content you have no right to publish. We can suspend an account or unpublish a gym that does.
There is no tolerance for abusive, hateful, sexual or threatening posts and comments, or for harassing other people. You can report anything you see and block anyone. We review reports and remove what breaks this rule, and we can close the account that posted it.
Health and safety
Programs, targets and assessments are information, not medical advice. Training carries risk; the gym and trainer supervising you are responsible for your safety in their facility, and you are responsible for telling them what they need to know.
Ending it
A gym can stop using strongot at any time. A member can leave a gym at any time once upcoming bookings are cancelled, and anyone can delete their account in the app. We can end an account for a serious breach of these terms, with notice wherever that is possible.
Our liability
strongot is provided as it is. We aren’t responsible for what gyms, trainers, sellers or other members do, or for loss that we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or our responsibility for death, injury or fraud caused by us.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us. Apple and Google aren’t party to them and aren’t responsible for strongot or for supporting it, and their store terms also apply to what you download or buy from them.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the consumer rights of your own country and can bring a claim there.
Changes
If these change in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the product or by email.
